What is it like to live in the same country but to inhabit separate psychological worlds – to feel distant, to fall apart, to watch the landscape shift before our eyes?

 

Haven’t we all once felt that incessant desire to leave home and its expectations in search of love?

 

But what if going away on a fast train brings us to strange places that makes us wish we’d never left?

 

Do we change? Are we the same? Do we grow? Can we come back?

 

 PLATFORM B  is a journey of longing and leaving. Set in Singapore on points along the MRT track then taking a brief detour to some other conceivable land, it is a story that draws lines through the lives of people planning amidst changing circumstances for their imagined futures – set to a soundscape familiar to anyone who has ever travelled to find themselves.
